Step into a gentle space of rest, healing, and renewal. This one-day retreat weaves together the subtle wisdom of Jin Shin Jyutsu and the flowing, meditative practice of Tai Chi Qigong, inviting you to slow down, soften, and return to your body’s natural rhythm.
Through mindful touch, conscious breath, and slow, continuous movement, you will be supported in calming the nervous system, releasing held tension, and restoring a deep sense of balance and ease.
🌿 Gentle Healing with Jin Shin Jyutsu
Experience the soothing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese healing practice that uses light, compassionate touch to harmonize the body’s energy pathways. Working in small groups of three, participants take turns receiving care while partners guide the Fingers and Toes Flow, a nurturing sequence that encourages deep relaxation, emotional balance, and inner peace. Each person receives 30 minutes of focused support, offering a sense of being deeply held and cared for.
🌿 Breath, Stillness & Energy Awareness
Learn how gentle holds on Safety Energy Locks, combined with natural breathing, awaken the body’s innate healing intelligence. You will explore how the fingers relate to emotions, allowing breath and awareness to quiet the mind, soften the body, and create inner spaciousness.
🌿 Tai Chi Qigong: Slow Movement, Deep Nourishment
Tai Chi Qigong is offered as a moving meditation, where softness and strength meet. Through slow, circular, and continuous movements, you will be guided to release unnecessary effort, settle the mind, and allow Qi to flow smoothly through the body. These practices gently open the joints, support circulation, and harmonize the internal organs, leaving you feeling grounded, centred, and quietly energized.
As movement becomes slower and more mindful, awareness naturally drops from the head into the body, fostering stability, inner calm, and a deep sense of embodied presence.
🌿 Simple Self-Care for Everyday Life
You will also learn gentle Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help practices you can return to at any time. These simple techniques support restful sleep, healthy digestion, emotional steadiness, and daily resilience. With careful guidance, you will explore gentle flows and breathing practices that help you feel supported, balanced, and at ease in everyday life.
