Carlene is a qualified Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner with over ten years of experience in this gentle yet powerful wellness modality. Jin Shin Jyutsu is a traditional Japanese healing art that uses gentle touch on specific body points to balance energy, relieve stress, and promote well-being.
Her passion for holistic therapies stems from her family’s multi-generational involvement in high-level competitive sport, which inspired a deep curiosity about what the mind and body need to perform at their best. Motivated by this understanding, Carlene pursued a path in holistic wellness, focusing particularly on the practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu.
She is also a registered teacher and a certified Relaxation Massage Therapist (Level 4), having completed formal training at the New Zealand College of Massage.With a strong foundation in both theory and practice, Carlene is dedicated to teaching self-help techniques that promote vitality, inner balance, and overall well-being.
