Sheryl Zeng is currently a Chinese teacher and reporter. She majored in music education at the School of Education, which led her to host an arts interview program on radio for two years. During that time, she had the opportunity to interview world-renowned pianist Lang Lang and organized several concerts.
Sheryl has a wide range of interests and has devoted herself to learning across multiple fields. Over the years, she has served as a psychological counselor, music competition judge, and even participated in theatrical performances, showcasing her versatile talents.
Later, while teaching Chinese to her own children, she gradually realized the importance of Chinese education abroad. Together with her husband, she founded the Chi-Yuan Education Center. As a Chinese teacher and media professional, Sheryl has received numerous international awards and recognitions.
To promote Chinese culture, she organizes various cultural events each year. This year, the city council once again invited the Chi-Yuan Education Center to participate in the “World of Cultures” event. Drawing from her solid professional background, Sheryl introduced the different expressions of music in Eastern and Western cultures, and shared how music influences our daily lives—offering the audience a fresh perspective on the meaning and value of music.
