Zen Resonance Retreat:
Auckland Botanic Gardens-The Logan Campbell Building
An Immersive Mind–Body Journey through Yoga, Mudra, Qigong, Meditation & Singing Bowl Sound Healing
with Eric Wang↗, Mark Chua↗
Step away from the noise of daily life and enter a sanctuary of stillness.
Nestled within the serene beauty of Auckland Botanic Gardens, and held in the peaceful wooden lodge of The Logan Campbell Building, this retreat invites you to immerse yourself in a day of gentle transformation — surrounded by trees, open skies, and the quiet rhythm of nature.
Guided by Eric Wang, experienced Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and devoted yoga and Tai Chi instructor, together with Mark Chua, dedicated Singing Bowl Sound Healing practitioner, this retreat is a meeting point of ancient Eastern wisdom and embodied mindfulness practice.
Here, movement becomes meditation.
Sound becomes healing.
Stillness becomes home.
This carefully curated one-day immersion is designed to restore balance, awaken inner harmony, and activate the body's natural healing intelligence. Whether you are seeking deep rest, energetic renewal, or quiet clarity, this experience offers a spacious reset for body, mind, and spirit.
Through mindful, flowing sequences, we gently dissolve physical and energetic stagnation. Each movement invites spaciousness, softness, and inner radiance — cultivating flexibility, circulation, and a calm, open awareness.
Explore traditional hand gestures that regulate and refine internal energy. Practiced in stillness, mudras become silent gateways — harmonising Qi, steadying the heart-mind, and deepening meditative presence.
Seated and guided Zen-inspired meditation offers moments of quiet observation. Breath softens. Thoughts settle. Awareness expands. In this simplicity, clarity naturally arises.
Immerse yourself in resonant tones that ripple through body and space. The healing frequencies of singing bowls dissolve tension, clear energetic blockages, and guide you into profound states of relaxation and alignment.
Experience the graceful movements of Qigong, reconnecting with the body’s natural rhythm. Gentle yet powerful, this practice supports smooth Qi circulation, nourishes the internal organs, and cultivates stability, balance, and inner strength.
Throughout the day, the surrounding gardens offer a living backdrop — birdsong, sunlight through leaves, the quiet grounding presence of earth and sky. Nature itself becomes a silent teacher.
This retreat is an invitation to slow down, to listen inwardly, and to return to your essential self.
By day’s end, you will feel centred, rejuvenated, and deeply aligned — ready to re-enter daily life with renewed clarity, mindfulness, and quiet inner light.
